Author, comedian, speaker, and dream trainer, Bryan Emler has been living out his dreams for the past 15 years. From an early age, he always wanted to be a famous actor, so after finishing high school he set the plans in action to follow that dream. Bryan became a Theater Major at Ashland University, where he received is B.A. and appeared in over 20 productions.
Still wanting to be a star, Bryan then began writing, performing, and touring his very own stand-up comedy show. After only a few open mics, Bryan landed a spot as the opening act for Judy Carter (author STAND-UP COMEDY:THE BOOK and THE COMEDY BIBLE). From that point on, Bryan toured from coast to coast appearing at some of the best comedy clubs in the United States and working with the top comedians in the world. Bryan
has appeared at: The Comedy Spot (Scottsdale, AZ), The Improv (Cleveland, OH), The Funny Bone (Columbus, OH), The Duplex (New York City), The New York
Comedy Club (New York City), The Stardust Hotel & Casino (Las Vegas, NV), The
Boston Comedy Festival. The Las Vegas Comedy Festival,and many others.
Always looking for a way of spreading joy to others, Bryan has also worked with
various charities, non-profits, and churches such as New Creation MCC (Columbus),
MCC Anchorage (Anchorage, AK), Topeka Pride Organization, Pensacola's DON
WE NOW OUR GAY APPAREL (with Bob Smith & Georgia Ragsdale), Columbus'
Gay Men's Chorus (with Michele Balan and Eddie Sarfaty) and numerous others.
Bryan has also been seen on television on NBC-TV's The Caroline Rhea Show and
on the PBS comedy special APPLAUSE. He can also be seen in the Universal
Studios motion picture SEABISCUIT.
In print, Bryan has contributed to the books THE COMEDY BIBLE by Judy Carter and FROM THE STAGE TO THE STOVE: AMERICA'S FUNNIEST COOKBOOK by Thomas Brown. Bryan is currently working on three books of his own,.
